Make a U-TURN and go back to the Marquette interchange.
I-794 does not go to any other freeways, as of yet. Now, the "Bridge to Nowhere" (Hoan Bridge) is actually going to go somewhere. Started in 1998 and opened on October 1, 1999, the "Lake Parkway" runs from the south end of I-794 to Layton Ave. It is signed as WI 794 and called "Lake Parkway" on the green overhead signs. The speed limit is 40 MPH and the median is curb & gutter. At its end it appears as though WisDOT plans to extend it sometime. For the time being, it serves as a quick route from downtown to Mitchell International Airport, and has already decreased traffic on I-94 and other arterials in the area.
